Low On The Horizon

Aww of the many beautiful things in life. I love going out and looking at all the colors in the sky as the sun starts to slowly sink, displaying gorgeous colors. Whenever I look at it, it makes me feel happy and peaceful. What determines sky's colors at sunset? According to Science Daily, "Because the sun is low on the horizon, sunlight passes through more air at sunset and sunrise than during the day, when the sun is higher in the sky. More atmosphere means more molecules to scatter the violet and blue light away from your eyes."
